See you at Linda’s!
Preserving its legacy as a family-run business with deep ties to the local community.
History that dates back to 1947
Linda’s La Cantina Steakhouse, a beloved Orlando institution, has a rich history that dates back to 1947. Originally established as Edie and Rudy’s LaCantina, it quickly became a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide top-quality steaks with impeccable service in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
In 1973, ownership of the restaurant passed down to Edie and Rudy’s son Al and daughter in law Linda. In the late 80’s the title changed to Linda’s LaCantina.
Linda passed in 2011 and is currently operated and owned by Al And Linda’s daughters Karen and Laurie along with the chef and Meat Cutter of 40 years Steve.
The hallmark of Linda’s La Cantina has always been its commitment to high-quality, in house hand-cut steaks, prepared to perfection. The restaurant's menu is centered around house aged beef, cooked over a steel flat grill, giving the steaks a signature flavor that keeps customers coming back for generations. Unlike many modern steakhouses, Linda’s La Cantina retains a nostalgic, old-school charm, with a timeless atmosphere that harkens back to its mid-20th century roots.
Over the years, Linda’s La Cantina has become a staple in Orlando’s dining scene, cherished for its consistency, service, and community involvement. Despite Orlando’s rapid growth and changes, the restaurant has remained a steady presence, preserving its legacy as a family-run business with deep ties to the local community. The combination of history, tradition, and exceptional dining continues to define Linda’s La Cantina Steakhouse, ensuring its place as an Orlando treasure.
